WCPF DPIC and Print Competiton February 2023
The WCPF competition returns to the Corn Exchange Exeter and for the first time it has introduced a print competition as well as the digital images.
Each club in the WCPF is allowed to enter 18 digital images and 15 prints. Because it was the first time that both prints and digital images were entered they were prejudged which made the whole event much easier to handle and also much quicker.
Print Competition - Bristol Photographic Society gained first place with 187 points and Dorchester Camera Club came 2nd with 182 points. Truro 3rd place with 174 points and Bridgewater 4th with 170 points. Exmouth gained 5th place out of the 30 clubs who entered with 169 points. Images are below with the points and Sheila Haycox got a Judges Award with her mono print called Having Fun.
Digital Projected Images - 48 clubs entered, Dorchyester came 1st with 217 points, Bristol 2nd with 212 points, Truro 3rd 207 points, Taunton 202 points 4th place, Stroud 6th place 200 points, 7th place got 197 points and Exmouth managed to get 7th place with 195 points.
